Your Original Xbox is stuck with an old, small drive. Luckily, that's something you can fix in an afternoon. This kit is exactly the all-in-one solution you need for the job: our own high-speed 80-wire IDE cable, the IDE-to-SATA adapter, and the bracket to mount a 2.5" drive neatly in the 3.5" slot.

Why 80-wire?

The Original Xbox originally shipped with a 40-wire cable. Those are slow and hit their limits once you install a larger drive or an SSD. This high-speed cable has 80 wires (UDMA4+), making it considerably faster — and it's made to the exact size, flexible, and as close to the original cable as possible. The result: a smooth, fast and reliable HDD upgrade.
